Carefully Crafted Christmas Gifts - With a Difference

Vote with heart before 5pm, Wednesday 22 December 2021 by telling us which organisation you'd like to support for "carbon or people-positive" impact this Christmas, and we'll make a donation on your behalf.

Last year we supported the Fred Hollows campaign and our Christmas donation gave the gift of sight to over 100 people.

This year, we’ve chosen three organisations that are close to our hearts, doing great work investing in carbon storing trees, protecting Australia's marine biodiversity and creating clean jobs in WA.

Here are the three organisations:

Greening Australia manages significant programs including restoring habitat in Tasmania for some of Australia’s most critically endangered animals. Their bold aim is to plant 5 million native trees and shrubs across Australia by 2030, to store carbon, protect biodiversity and create habitat for wildlife.

A vote for Greening Australia would assist in storing 100 tonnes of carbon.

Australian Marine Conservation Society has protected critical ocean ecosystems around Australia with marine reserves, including Ningaloo and the Great Barrier Reef. But the fight against plastic pollution continues with the need for ongoing nurturing of marine ecosystems.

A vote for Australian Marine Conservation Society is for Australian coasts and oceans remaining healthy for tomorrow’s generations.

Clean State is an independent climate action initiative with 26 big ideas to combat 193.2 million tonnes of annual climate pollution from Western Australia's gas and mining exports. Big ideas like switching to 90% renewable energy by 2030 and building 15,000 new, low carbon social housing homes.

A vote for Clean State is advocating for up to 200,000 clean jobs and a cleaner economy for WA.
